Between July and August 2024, three workshops were held for family members of incarcerated individuals and for prison survivors, with the participation of approximately 60 family members and survivors. The initiative was promoted by the University Extension Group "Mass Incarceration of Black Women: Extension Practice in Promoting Access to Justice" (PPGD PUC-Rio, NIREMA), in partnership with the Association of Warrior Women of the Mountain Region (AMUGUE) and the Todxs Unidxs Collective.
